REDMOND, Wash. — Redmond police are searching for a 16-year-old girl and her infant child who have not been since since approximately 9:00 a.m. Friday.
Katherine Ramos-Lima left a residence in Redmond to take a bus to appointments in Bellevue, police said.
The teen, who lives with her aunt in Bellevue, but was visiting her father, who lives in Redmond.
The teen recently moved to Bellevue from El Salvador, and had expressed her desire to return to the Central American country to reunite with other members of her family.
Redmond police say there are no indications the girl was taken against her will and she is being regarded as a missing person.
Her child's name is Sergio Ramos.
