SEATTLE — A 42-year-old man was transported to Harborview Medical Center after being stabbed multiple times near Fourth Avenue South and South Holgate Street Tuesday morning in Seattle.
A King County Sheriff’s deputy who first arrived at the scene performed first aid on the victim, a police spokesman said.

The victim had several stab wounds, but his injuries were non-life-threatening, investigators said.
Police said they searched for a suspect in the area, but could not find him.
Witnesses at the scene gave varying descriptions of a man, who was best described as white, in his late 20s, 5 feet 7 inches to 6 feet 2 inches tall, with blonde hair and possibly wearing a camouflage jacket.
Police are investigating what led up to the stabbing.
