Police: Man steals $35K watch from Bellevue jewelry store

BELLEVUE, Wash. — Bellevue police are searching for a suspect who stole a watch from a jewelry store downtown.

Police said a man entered the store and asked to try on several Rolex watches.

When the man tried on a Rolex valued at $35,000, he then ran out the door.

Police said the sales associate told officers the man mentioned that he worked in construction.

The man is described as white, 25 to 35 years old, 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 185 to 200 pounds.

Anyone who recognizes him is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). There is a reward of up to $5,000 for any information leading to an arrest.
