Police: Man arrested for harboring a minor in connection with missing child case

LYNNWOOD, Wash. — A Lynnwood man was arrested for harboring a minor in connection with a missing child case, police announced Saturday.

Lynnwood police detectives, with the help of the FBI, identified and located the 32-year-old man who is suspected of arranging to meet and drive a 12-year-old girl to a residence in Kitsap County.

The girl was reported missing the day before, Feb. 25, under “suspicious circumstances,” a press release said.

The suspect was taken into custody and the child was recovered.

The man was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for investigation of charges including harboring a minor, police said.
