A man accidentally shot his neighbor in the leg Saturday night while attempting to shoot an aggressive pit bull in Federal Way, according to police.
Police responded to the 33500 block of 43rd Avenue Southwest for a report of an accidental shooting. Upon arrival, they found that the man had been shot in the leg.
The victim was taken to Harborview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
