RENTON, Wash. — Two men in Renton were injured Thursday night when a gun accidentally discharged while it was getting cleaned, police said.
The incident happened in the 5000 block of Southeast 2nd Street.

Fire officials said the the shooting involved a father and a son.
Police said the father, who may be in his 40s or 50s, was taken to Harborview Medical Center with a hip wound and is in critical condition. The son, who is in his 20s, was taken to Valley Medical with a hand wound.
The shooting was reported as accidental but police are investigating.
