SEATTLE — Police are looking for a robbery and kidnapping suspect after a chase and crash in Seattle's Beacon Hill neighborhood Tuesday night.
According to police, detectives had a man under surveillance on an area in Seattle.
When officers attempted to stop the man's vehicle, he drove away.
Police chased the man from I-5 into Seattle's Beacon Hill neighborhood.
According to police, the man got out of the vehicle and fled on foot. It is unknown which direction he fled.
The man is described as Asian and 27 years old. Police said detectives know who the man is.
Earlier in the evening police had initially reported that they were attempting to take into custody a carjacking suspect barricaded in a vehicle.
