EVERETT, Wash. — Two men were arrested after reports of a drive-by shooting in Everett on Wednesday afternoon.
At about 4:15 p.m., officers responded to reports of multiple shots fired at 4th Avenue West and Holly Drive.
When police arrived, they found an unoccupied Jeep Cherokee with several bullet holes parked on the roadway.
Police said witnesses reported seeing a dark-colored passenger car behind the Jeep with occupants in both vehicles shooting at each other.
After the shooting stopped, the passenger vehicle fled and the Jeep stopped in the roadway, where two men ran into a nearby home.
Officers searched the area and the two men walked out of the house and were detained.
Police arrested the two men -- a 21-year-old and 18-year-old – and they will be booked into the Snohomish County Jail.
No injuries were reported.
Police are continuing their investigation on the shooting.
