Pedestrian struck by truck in downtown Seattle

A woman was seriously hurt when she was hit by a truck in downtown Seattle.

The incident happened just before 6 a.m. Tuesday on Western Avenue and Lenora Street.  She may have been in a crosswalk when she was struck.

The 34-year-old woman was transported to the hospital.

Video from the scene showed a pair of boots in the street as well as a lone athletic shoe and a bag.

The driver of the truck remained at the scene.
