Mudslides close roads in Renton, Puyallup

Mudslides are blocking roads in Puyallup and Renton Thursday morning.

In Puyallup, East Pioneer is closed in the 3400 block. At 8 a.m., Puyallup police said the road was expected to be closed for six hours.

In Renton, the Maple Valley Highway is closed by a landslide at 140th. There is no ETA for when it might reopen.

Meanwhile, in Issaquah, all lanes of westbound I-90 were closed after mud, rocks and trees came down from a hillside.  One lane has since reopened.
