Motorcyclist injured in hit-and-run on SR 167 in Renton

RENTON, Wash. — A motorcyclist was rushed to Harborview Medical Center with serious injuries after being involved in a hit-and-run crash with a car about 8 a.m. Wednesday in Renton.

The crash happened on southbound State Route 167, just south of I-405, Washington State Patrol said.

Trooper Rick Johnson said troopers are looking for a blue passenger car that fled the scene and has front left damage to it.

As of 9:10 a.m., Johnson said the left lane of SR 167 is blocked so detectives can investigate.

Anyone who sees the blue car or has information about it is asked to call the State Patrol.
