Mason County police investigating man's death as homicide

MASON COUNTY, Wash. — Mason County police are investigating the death of Noe Alvarado, 43, as a homicide.

Police said Noe was reported missing on Sept. 6 this year after not being in touch with his church or loved ones since Sept. 2.

Noe’s vehicle was found in the Tahuya Forest in Belfair, and police said Noe was later found dead from a gunshot wound in nearby woods.

The Mason County Sheriff’s Office and Noe’s family are seeking information on his disappearance and death.

Police are investigating Noe’s death as a homicide. Police told KIRO 7 that during the autopsy, indications of homicidal violence were found.
