RENTON, Wash. — Renton police are investigating after man was shot in the arm in a parking lot of a shopping center Monday evening.
Officers responded after reports of a shooting in the Renton Highlands at about 7 p.m. Some of the calls came from the LA Fitness.
According to deputies the shooting happened in the parking lot near 140th and Petrovitsky Road
When police arrived, they found a 21-year-old man who had a gunshot wound to the arm. He was taken to the hospital with injuries that do not appear to be life-threatening.
Authorities and a K-9 unit could not locate the suspect.
Police are looking for a man who is described as black, 20 to 25 years of age, 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a short afro, wearing black sweat pants and a backpack.
