SEATTLE — Seattle police are interviewing witnesses after a shooting at Golden Gardens Park overnight.
Police were called to the scene in Seattle at 11:50 p.m. Tuesday.
Officers say a man received a graze wound when he was shot in the back.
Officers searched the park and found 21 rifle rounds and six .380 rounds in the area where witnesses said the shooting happened.
Witnesses told officers there was a fight in the park just before a man pulled out a rifle and began firing shots. A second man then pulled out a handgun and returned fire.
KIRO 7 spoke with witnesses who said at first they didn't realized it was a shooting.
"I thought it was just some fireworks until we came this way and saw somebody bleeding and saw cop after cop after cop,” said Mohamed Nour.
Police say the man who was shot has non-life threatening injuries.
No description of the suspects have been released.
