Man poses as Amazon delivery driver in cyberstalking case, court documents say

KING COUNTY, Wash. — A man accused of showing up at his ex-girlfriend’s job dressed as an Amazon delivery driver was charged with felony cyberstalking.

The victim told police Matthew Keith Morrison, 33, showed up at her job in May posing as an Amazon delivery driver and said it was suspicious since he did not work for the company, court documents said.

According to police documents, the victim started receiving threatening text and email messages after her relationship with Morrison.

“You are lucky that I don’t kill you before I leave,” Morrison wrote in a message to the victim in April, according to police documents.

Morrison was also accused of trying to gain access to the victim’s online accounts, according to police documents.

According to authorities, the victim had her cellphone account altered without her permission. Last month, the victim’s username was changed on her cellphone account to something derogatory, and Morrison was suspected.

The victim obtained a temporary protection order against Morrison last month, according to police documents.

Morrison made his first appearance in King County Superior Court Tuesday morning.
