Man creeping into homes to watch women sleep

SHELTON, Wash. — Police in Mason County are searching for a man who's sneaking into homes to watch people sleep.

The first incident happened about two weeks ago in Shelton on Laurel Street.

A woman says she woke up at about 4:30 a.m. to find the suspect trying to take her sock off.

He left through an unlocked sliding glass door.

Then on Thursday morning, a woman on West Alder Street in Shelton said she woke up to see a man standing in the doorway to her bedroom.

Police say both women gave a similar description of a white man, about 6 feet tall, with short, shaggy dark hair.

The man entered both homes through unlocked doors.
