SEATTLE — A man was arrested Monday on Capitol Hill after threatening a bouncer with a homemade spear and then throwing a “sharp, black Batman-style throwing star” at pursuing officers, police said.
The throwing star became embedded in a Seattle patrol SUV.
Police arrived at the Capitol Hill bar Monday around 6:30 p.m. after the man reportedly swung an improvised spear -- a knife attached to a metal pole -- at a bar employee at East Olive Way and East Denny Way.
After a pursuit, officers took the 23-year-old man into custody.
He was taken to the King County Jail for felony assault.
