Man accused of killing, dismembering Renton mother expected in court Wednesday

A 37-year-old man accused of killing a Renton mother of three and dismembering her body is expected to appear in court on Wednesday.

John Charlton pleaded not guilty last month and is being held on $5 million bail.

Investigators say that Charlton killed Ingrid Lyne, 40, on April 8 after the two went on a date to a  Seattle Mariners game.

Charlton had met her a month earlier through a dating website.

Charlton allegedly dumped several of Lyne’s body parts in recycling bins.

Police say Charlton claimed he was drunk and didn’t remember anything from the night of the murder.

He made his first court appearance in early April.
