Man accused of killing acquaintance in Rainier Valley apartment

SEATTLE — Seattle police are searching for a suspect accused of killing an acquaintance in the Dunlap neighborhood Sunday night.

Police were called to Rainier Avenue South near South Thistle Street at about 10 pm.

Officers found the victim dead inside an apartment. He may have been stabbed to death.

Detectives say they have a description of a possible suspect but have not shared that information.

Homicide detectives are working to determine what led up to the attack.
