Seattle favorite Macklemore will kick off the grand opening of T-Mobile Park with a performance ahead of the Mariners' first home game of the 2019 season.
“Macklemore and the Un-carrier have a history that goes beyond our shared love for this community,” said John Legere, T-Mobile CEO. “I’ve gone out of my way a few times just to see Macklemore perform, so I couldn’t imagine opening T-Mobile Park and kicking off this next chapter with anyone else -- it’s gonna be epic!”
The performance will take place at 3:30 p.m. March 29 ahead of the first pitch at 4:10 p.m. when the Mariners play the Boston Red Sox. Fans are advised to get to the game early if they want to get a good spot to view the show.
