Large crowd confronts police outside bar

SEATTLE — A group of 30 to 40 people confronted police responding to an altercation in Pioneer Square.

The incident happened about 12:30 a.m. outside 88 Keys at 315 2nd Avenue South.

A KIRO 7 photojournalist said a large group was yelling at police and there was pushing and shoving between the people there and officers.

Police said there were guns involved and three or four people were arrested.

The officers then left and the crowd dispersed.

What caused the altercation is not yet known.
