SEATTLE, Wash. — After a sold-out crowd at Seattle University as a part of his book signing tour, former FBI Director James Comey will speak to Amazon employees in Seattle Monday.
His visit is part of a series, which the online company calls “The Fishbowl,” where actors, musicians and political figures are invited to talk with the staff exclusively.
On Sunday night, Comey received praises from some of the 700 people who got tickets to the book signing for his new book “A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies, and Leadership,” covering his 20-year career in American government.
“He has so much integrity, the way he talks and the things he talks about, he’s very humble and just really genuine,” one man said.
Another attendee said, “I was interested in his take on leadership more than anything else because we’ve already heard everything else in public.”

Comey has worked as deputy attorney general for the Department of Justice prior to serving as FBI director, first under President Barack Obama and then under President Trump until he was fired in May 2017.
Because media was not allowed inside the event, the crowd told KIRO 7 Comey spoke only a little about President Donald Trump, but did not say exactly what was said.
The president tweeted Friday about the book, "So General Michael Flynn's life can be totally destroyed while Shadey James Comey can leak and lie and make lots of money from a third-rate book (that never should have been written)."
When Comey recently appeared on "The Late Show with Steven Colbert," he commented about the president’s tweets saying "He's tweeted at me like fifty times, I've been gone for a year, I'm like a breakup he can't get over."
With Comey’s visit to Amazon, we may hear from the president who has also had an issue with the company, accusing the online retail giant of unfair competition.
The president has said Amazon is costing the US Postal Service billions of dollars.
Comey’s visit to Amazon on Monday will be a private affair.
