Former Seattle University basketball coach Cameron Dollar accuses the school of racial bias in a lawsuit obtained only by KIRO 7 News.
Dollar was fired from his job in March and he filed the lawsuit just seven months after he was let go.
For a report on KIRO 7 live at 5 p.m., Deborah Horne dug into the court documents and learned the separation was anything but amicable. Watch on-air or online here.
Dollar blames his teams' poor showing on "the now apparent lack of resources to the program."
The lawsuit blames Bill Hogan, SU's former athletic director.
He said Hogan “disrespected him in front of others and failed” to honor the commitments made when Dollar was recruited for the top basketball job.
In a statement, Seattle University “vehemently disputes Coach Dollar's claims.”
