Most of a single-story home in Maple Valley was destroyed by a fire early Sunday morning
Firefighters were dispatched to the house in the 20000 block of Maxwell Road Southeast at approximately 3:20 a.m. Upon arrival, firefighters saw the home in flames and fought the fire from the exterior because they feared the home might collapse.
It took about two hours to extinguish the fire.
It is unknown where the two people who live in the home currently are.
A King County fire investigator is on the scene to determine what started the fire.
