Man electrocuted by power line outside Gold Bar restaurant

A man died after he was electrocuted by a downed power line in Gold Bar Monday night.

The incident happened near the Mountain View Diner on Croft Avenue before 6 p.m.

The Herald reports that people in the restaurant heard a loud noise, went outside and found a man lying near a downed line.

Officials have not said whether the line fell on him or if he approached it.

The man has not been identified.
