Dog missing after I-5 crash found safe Wednesday

UPDATE: Hudson was found safe on Wednesday, and all 10 dogs involved in the crash were found safe.

His owner said a person found him by the greenbelt near Interstate 5 in South Seattle. People from across western Washington calling nonstop since the story was publicized Monday to help search for Hudson.

He was going to be checked at the vet, but is expected to be fine.

ORIGINAL TEXT: A Seattle man is searching south Seattle for his missing dog after a crash Monday on Interstate 5 in SeaTac.

The 5-year-old husky/lab mix, Hudson, was one of 10 dogs in a van that was rear-ended by a semi-truck. The other nine dogs were located. His owner, Seth Wissing, is searching for him.

Wissing left Hudson with Jake N Friends Pet Services, a local dog-walking company in Seattle. The dog walker told KIRO 7 the van was returning from Grandview Dog Park when it was rear-ended by the semi-truck.

Hudson was wearing a red collar. He has tags and is chipped.Two other dogs were found Monday afternoon alongside the interstate by people in the backed-up traffic.
