Owner burned while trying to save dog from house fire

SEATTLE — A person was burned in an overnight house fire when he ran back into the flames to save his dog.

The fire broke out at a home on 19th Avenue in Seattle's First Hill neighborhood about midnight.

The man who rushed back into the fire had minor burns and was treated at the scene.

His dog did not survive.
