Detectives investigate suspicious motel death on Aurora Avenue

SEATTLE — Homicide detectives are investigating a suspicious death discovered inside an Aurora Avenue motel Saturday.

An employee of a motel in the 12000 block of Aurora Avenue North called 911 Saturday just after 10 a.m. when he found a person inside a hotel room that had died.

Officers arrived and immediately called for homicide detectives who interviewed multiple people.

Crime scene investigators collected evidence and the King County Medical Examiner will investigate further to determine a cause of death.

The 12000 block of Aurora Avenue borders the west side of Evergreen Washelli Cemetery.
