Detectives hope to identify U-District burglary suspect

Seattle police detectives are looking for a man who is wanted in three burglaries in the University District this month.

Police say the burglar has broken into the same location in the 4700 block of University Way Northeast twice this month and has been captured on video both times.

Burglary detectives also believe the suspect is the same person who broke into a business in the 1400 block of Northeast 50th Street earlier this month.

The man enters the businesses early in the morning and steals electronics and jewelry and then leaves the scene on a bicycle.

Detectives describe the suspect as black, 20 years old, about 6 feet tall with a skinny build. He typically wears dark clothing.

Anyone with information about the identity of the suspect is asked to call North Precinct Burglary detectives at 206-386-9113.
