Police: 4 pounds of pot donated to Goodwill may be connected to robberies

MONROE, Wash. — Members of a specialized crimes task force in Snohomish County say the four pounds of pot donated to Goodwill earlier this week may be connected to home invasion robberies and burglaries. See the photos of the donated cooler full of pot below or at this link.

In the attacks, a group of people pointed guns at their victims and stole marijuana and other items.

A search warrant served on Thursday found bags of marijuana in a Monroe home that had similar writing to what was found on the bags of pot at the Goodwill store.

The search warrant served Thursday was part of a joint investigation between the Monroe Police Department and the Seattle Police Department.

An 18-year-old woman was arrested where the warrant was served. The investigation is ongoing. An additional arrest is expected.
