BELLEVUE, Wash. — Police say a man accused of molesting a young neighbor in 2013 and then leaving the Bellevue area may be back.
According to the Bellevue Reporter, the 12-year-old victim's family found out about the incident several days after it occurred, but by then, the suspect, Dandy Lopez-Diaz, had left the state.
His car was later found in San Bernardino County.
Investigators now believe that Lopez-Diaz is back in the Bellevue area, and a witness reported seeing the man at a gas station last month.
Police say Lopez-Diaz may be driving a red compact car, possibly a Mazda.
Anyone who has information about his whereabouts is asked to call Bellevue police or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
