Caught on surveillance: Thieves steal pickup truck in front of Lake Stevens bar

LAKE STEVENS, Wash. — A customer left his pickup truck overnight at a Lake Stevens bar over the weekend and it was stolen, and the theft was caught on surveillance cameras.

The incident happened early Saturday morning outside the Hawkeyes Sports Bar and Restaurant.

Surveillance video posted on the bar’s Facebook page shows two people on bicycles in the parking lot, circling around the customer’s truck.

Moments later, the two loaded up their bikes into the back of the truck and drove off.

The truck is described as a black 2002 Toyota Tacoma, with a black camper shell, black ladder rack and a paddle board on top with plate number B70562K. It remains missing.

Anyone who sees it is asked to call police.

A Lake Stevens man does the responsible thing and leaves his car at a bar overnight after a few too many drinks. When he comes back to get it the next morning, it's gone. This is surveillance of the two thieves who cased it, then loaded up their bikes in the back and made off with the truck. Do you recognize them?!
