Car flips over in North Seattle while fleeing from police

SEATTLE — Seattle police say an early morning chase ended in a rollover crash that injured several people.

Police say the chase started when they saw a car moving suspiciously. The driver sped away and police followed.

The car hit several other vehicles and then flipped onto its roof at the intersection of Northeast 80th Street and Roosevelt Way Northeast.

The two people in the suspect vehicle had to be extricated by firefighters but were not seriously injured. They were taken to the hospital in stable condition.

People in a second vehicle that was hit by the fleeing car had minor injuries.
