Burien police ask for public help to find missing man

BURIEN, Wash. — The King County Sheriff’s Office and Burien Police are searching for Brandon Wootton, a 23-year-old man who walked away from his Burien home around noon on Monday.

Wootton’s mother said he functions at the level of a 7-year-old and left home wearing a blue sweatshirt, green pajama pants and black shoes.

It is believed he is in danger, due to frigid temperatures and his lack of warm clothing.

He was last seen walking away from his home on the 15500 block of 4th Avenue South in Burien.

He is described as raced-mix Asian Caucasian, with blonde hair, blue eyes and a moustache. Police say he is 5’10 and weighs about 150 pounds.

In the past, police say he has wandered as far away as Lacey.
