Two killed, 1 hurt in shooting in Seattle's Belltown neighborhood

SEATTLE — Three people were shot in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood at about 12:15 a.m. Thursday near Fifth Avenue and Battery Street.

Two of the victims, a man and a woman in their mid-20s, were pronounced dead at the scene. A third victim, a man also in his mid-20s, was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with serious injuries.

Detectives say they are working with witnesses to develop a possible suspect description.
