Deputies said witnesses reported hearing screams and seeing the woman run out the door of the home yelling for help. They said an argument happened in the kitchen.

Three kids who were inside the home during the incident, fled to a nearby neighbor's house, but were not injured, deputies reported.

Deputies said a 35-year-old man was inside the home when they arrived and later came out covered in blood.

The Bothell man was taken into custody without incident, authorities said.
