MARYSVILLE, Wash. — Police are looking for a driver after a 52-year-old man was killed in a hit-and-run incident. The incident happened at the 4th Street on-ramp to northbound I-5 in Marysville.
At about 4:30 a.m., police were alerted that there was a man laying in the road. When they arrived the found the man in the road with llfe-threatening injuries. Police said it appeared he had been hit while he was in the crosswalk.
The man was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The driver left the scene and police are asking anyone who was in the area between 4:15 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. contact them.
A GoFundMe page has been started to assist the victim's family.
