A magnitude 4.2 earthquake hit about 11 miles west-northwest of Belfair on Wednesday night.
The quake struck at 8:59 p.m.

People have reported feeling the quake in Port Orchard, Bremerton, Seabeck, Gig Harbor, Tacoma, Shelton and Tumwater.
The state Department of Emergency Management said more than 2,000 people reported feeling the quake.
There have been no reports of damage.

The National Weather Service of Seattle said there was no tsunami threat.
Just after 10:05 p.m., a magnitude 4.8 earthquake struck near Vancouver Island.
