2 injured when tree falls on car in Bothell area

BOTHELL, Wash. — Two people were injured Sunday when a tree fell on the car in which they were riding.

Their injures are not life-threatening, police say.

The roads around 100^th Avenue NE and 164^th Place were closed following the incident. Residents were advised power may go out.

"Thnx to Bothell Fire for getting these two people out safely w/ limited injuries," police officials wrote over Twitter. "This could have been much worse."
