An investigation into two separate DUI crashes closed southbound Interstate 5 in Lakewood on Friday morning.
Washington State Patrol told KIRO 7 News that the crashes happened 100 feet from each other. Troopers don’t believe the crashes were related.

In the first crash, four vehicle were involved and one passenger died. A driver suspected of DUI suffered minor injuries.
The second crash had two cars, and the driver of victim car drove away from the scene.
This is a 3 car serious injury collision and a separate 2 car hit and run collision. Causing drivers in both collision arrested for DUI.
