Lacey homes damaged by suspicious fire

LACEY, Wash. — A fire damaged four houses early Saturday morning in Lacey, and officials said the fire was suspicious.

According to a battalion commander, the fire happened after 3:30 a.m. in a neighborhood with nearly-completed homes.

When firefighters arrived at the scene, the fire was fully involved at a two-story home. The house to the right and two other homes 100 feet away had fires in them.

The Olympia Fire Department helped Lacey firefighters attack the blaze.

No one was inside the houses.

According to officials, the fire is a 100 percent possibility of arson and detectives are still investigating the fire.
