KIRO 7's Angela Russell Helps the Disabled at the POF's Gala

March 24, 2012 — KIRO 7's Angela Russell emceed the Prosthetic Outreach Foundation's Annual Steps to Healing Dinner Auction Gala at the Sheraton Seattle Hotel.

Angela helped create a giving atmosphere in a room filled with 260 people. With $300,000 in donations raised, including $90,000 from matching gifts, the gala was a hit. Donations will go towards improving the lives of children and adults with physical disabilities in developing countries.

"Angela's professional presence and warm personality contributed to a wonderful evening," said Liesa Rose, Director of Operations and Development at the POF. "Her generous support and contributing talents made our event a success!"

The Prosthetic Outreach Foundation seeks to improve the mobility and independence of physically disabled children and adults in developing countries.
