KINGSTON, Wash. — A 48-year-old man died Friday morning in a traffic collision involving a fire truck, The Kitsap County Sheriff's office said.

Spokesman Scott Wilson said Jason T. Foster of Kingston, who was driving a scooter, died at the scene.

The crash happened when the pumper truck with North Kitsap Fire & Rescue tried to turn left and collided with the scooter.

Wilson says fire investigators are looking into who had the right of way.
