Officials: Cause of semitruck fire most likely electrical malfunction in engine

SEATTLE — Fire officials said the cause of Sunday's semitruck fire on Harbor Island was most likely an electrical malfunction in the engine. 

The fire happened in the 2500 block of 11th Avenue Southwest.

Crews had the fire under control at about 1 p.m.

No injuries were reported.

Fire officials said the tanks of the truck were empty.

Damages were estimated at $200,000.
