I-5 ramp shuts down after crash in Tacoma

TACOMA, Wash. — Authorities are investigating a collision that closed off a ramp early Saturday evening on Interstate 5 in Tacoma.

Authorities said three to four vehicles were involved in the crash on the southbound lanes of I-5 at 72nd Street after 5 p.m.

The ramp from I-5 was closed for an investigation.

According to the Washington State Patrol, the occupants in the vehicles did not appear to have life-threatening injuries.

As of 7 p.m., the ramp from southbound I-5 to 72nd was still closed.
