Human remains found at Olympia transient camp; 1 arrested

OLYMPIA, Wash. — Police found human remains at a transient camp in a wooded area in southeast Olympia and have arrested a man on suspicion of murder, the Olympia Police Department said.

Detectives visited the camp after receiving a report of a possible murder, found the remains and located several people who they believed to have been involved in the slaying of a homeless man, police said.

They arrested a 19-year-old transient man, who is being  held on a charge of second-degree murder.
