Hit-and-run victim found bleeding on Burien street

BURIEN, Wash. — A woman was found bleeding from a head wound in downtown Burien Monday night in what appeared to be a hit-and-run crash.

King County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Cindi West said the woman was found on the road at Southwest 152nd and Fourth Avenue Southwest sometime after 5 p.m.

West said medics performed CPR and then transported the woman to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition.

West said it appeared the woman was struck by a hit-and-run driver.

Discover Burien Executive Director Gina Bourdage told the b-townblog.com that the victim was hit by a dark van at 5:45 p.m.

Police are continuing to investigate.
