Front-end collision causes injury, delays near Bothell

BOTHELL, Wash. — A Bothell street lay littered with scraps of twisted metal and plastic Friday after two cars smashed into each other.

One driver was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The other driver reported no injuries.

The collision occurred on NE 180th Street, between SR 522 and 92nd Ave Northeast. It involved two sedans -- one light grey and the other dark.

The road was closed and estimated to be closed for up to 45 minutes. One lane was reopened at around 5 p.m. The entire was reopened at around 5:25 p.m
