This Fourth of July, KIRO 7 brings you the best view of Seattle's remarkable fireworks show over Lake Union, with Seattle's skyline as a backdrop.

You'll get views from the water, from the air at "fireworks level" and an incomparable view from Chopper 7.

We'll take you inside the precise piece of math that the fireworks team has to do more than 1,000 times to make the show music is synchronized with blasts in the sky.

And this year you'll experience the explosive new twist to the start and the end of this year's fireworks show when Seafair teams with KIRO 7.

Viewers will see the Best of the Blue Angels – a fast-paced look at the longtime Seafair favorites. It's the only place you'll be able to see the flying team this summer.

KIRO 7 will put you in the cockpit with the Patriots Jet Team -- the headline performers at this summer's Seafair Air Show. Our Science of Seafair segment will show you the razor-thin move that a Patriot pilot makes to prevent his jet from plummeting out of control as it falls backward in mid-air.

The Fourth of July broadcast runs from 9 to 11 p.m. with KIRO 7 Eyewitness News anchors Steve Raible and Angela Russell. Follow this link to get more details about the Seafair Summer Fourth at Gas Works Park, or go here to see videos and other Seafair festival event information.
