Firefighters battle Everett warehouse blaze

EVERETT, Wash. — Firefighters doused a commercial structure fire at Chestnut Street and Pacific Avenue in Everett Tuesday morning.

KIRO 7 Eyewitness News reporter Lee Stoll said the building appeared to be a warehouse.

Firefighters found smoke coming from the 20- by 40-foot steel-clad building when they arrived, the Everett Fire Department said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, and there was no immediate estimate of damage or loss. No one was hurt.

Burlington Northern closed railroad tracks in the area for a time.
